Yesterday I was SO tired! I felt like such a bum at work yesterday afternoon. My attention span was limited as I tried to stay awake. I got home from work and heated up leftovers from lunch for Tom and me. Then I laid on the couch from 5:30 - 8:30 to watch TV. Since we couldn't watch Ed and West Wing on Wednesday night I caught up on those. Then I watched Friends. I tried to walk around and make myself wake up a bit (since I was planning on taking the dog for a walk) by rinsing the 3 dinner dishes, but it didn't work. At 8:30 I got ready for bed. By 9:00 I was in bed to watch Wil and Grace, then I went to sleep. I couldn't believe I was that tired after sleeping in yesterday!

Today at work should go by pretty fast. I have quite a bit to do to keep me busy. After work we are meeting grandma and grandpa Holoweiko for dinner, so that will be really nice. We'll probably end up playing cards with them afterwards too. Saturday we have a wedding for one of Tom's friends/co-workers. That will be our sixth wedding of the year, with only one more to go - but that's not till November!

Tomorrow I will officially be 12 weeks along. Is it going fast for you? :) My jeans are getting tight so today I am wearing some bigger jeans that I bought. I usually wear a size 6 or 8, so I bought some 13's! I am swimming in them now, but they are more comfortable than my normal jeans. I am sure they won't be this loose for too long anyways!

My mom and I ate pizza at DeLuca's for lunch today. It was fabulous!! I slept in today because I was up till midnight both last night and the night before. I just can't function on that little sleep anymore. I feel like such an old fart - but it's just been like this since getting pregnant. Then the baby wanted a Twix bar... so... alas, I had to comply...

Before I came into the office today I stopped at Target because some of their maternity clothes were on sale. I bought a gray pinstripe maternity pants suit for $25! It is so cute. Plus I bought a pair of boot cut kahkis and black so-whore-rity girl pants. I can't imagine that I am going to fill these pants up! I also bought a sweater. Everything was pretty cheap - like 12 or 15 dollars a piece. Good stuff.

Wow... the work day sure goes fast when you only work half a day... I love it!!

Oh, last night I found out that one of my best friends, Karen (avid blog readers have seen her name) is now taking prenatal vitamins in case she gets pregnant. She and Kevin are doing the "not preventing, not trying" gig that Tom and I were up to. How excited am I??? Way excited!!! It would be so cool to have our kids be close in age and grow up across the street from one another!

That Twix bar is making me so sleepy...... zzzzzzz.......

Another day, another dollar....

I just got yesterday's post published to the site. There were some blog problems yesterday for a few of us lucky ones!

Whew! I am tired! got to bed around midnight last night. I pressed snooze 5 times this morning! It makes my morning so unpleasant when I do that.... I don't know why I keep on doing it. Once I actually get up then I am rushing around so much that I always forget to do something and I can't spend enough time on my hair. :)

Since I was so hot all day yesterday I decided to ditch the sweaters and wear a tank top, skirt and sandals today at work. Guess what? I am still hot too! So glad I am not wearing a suit. Speaking of clothes, I need to do a little shopping this weekend for some more work clothes. The pants are getting a little tight. Our shopping last weekend consisted of shoe shopping. That's when I got the cute sandals I am wearing now, as well as these awesome black and cream clogs that look like bowling shoes! Those weren't exactly a pregnancy neccesity.... While surrounded by all of those shoes, I completely forgot that my pants were getting tight. Oh well.

I have lots to do at the office this morning, so it's back to work for me!!

Guess what??? Treat Day again today!! Today is my boss' last day and this other woman's 50th birthday. Donuts are abundant. I brought in donuts as well because I didn't have time to make anything last night since I was cleaning the house with a headache this big!! It was so bad it was making me feel like I was going to throw up!

I had a nice weekend. On Saturday night we went out for a fantabulous Italian dinner with our neighbors, Kevin and Karen, at the new Bravo restaurant. OMG!!! It was awesome!! The baby and I had shrimp and penne in a spicy tomato cream sauce. It was one of the best dinners I have ever had. Plus, of course, we had bread in dipping oil. And for dessert...... creme brulee!!!!!!! Yum!!!! And a cappucino to top it off. Too bad I couldn't have enjoyed a glass of wine with such a fine dinner... but oh well. The creme brulee by far made up for it!!

So... let me tell you how emotional I am - I watched the re-run of the finale of sorority life on MTV (and I am SO not a so-whore-rity girl...) and I started crying!! About 2 minutes ago we just presented my boss' retirement gift to him and I was trying SO hard not to cry!! Oh, then yesterday when I was on the road for work I heard that Tim McGraw song "Don't Take the Girl" and it made me cry!! It's so funny to want to cry about these things!

Today I think I am so hot! I must have that proverbial 'glow'. I am wearing a sweater and now I just want to strip! Sorry for all of the exclamation points today... reminds me of that episode of Seinfeld.....

Well, I need to get to work. I have a lot of stuff on my desk. Tonight I am in Livonia for my Self-Expression and Leadership class.... which means less sleep tonight. But it's all good....
